Children’s Day observance varies by country all around the world. In 1925, International Children’s Day was first proclaimed in Geneva during the World Conference on Child Welfare. From 1950 till now, it is observed on 1 June in many countries like Vietnam, China, Poland, Germany, Russia, etc. According to United Nations, World Children’s Day was first established in 1954 as Universal Children’s Day and is celebrated on 20 November each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children’s welfare.
